Behind the Design: Our New Fall Collection

Hello, Itgaps community! Today we’re taking you behind the scenes of our newest fall collection. We want to share what inspired us and show you the care that goes into each piece we create.
The Colors of Fall
When we started planning this collection, we took long walks in the park. We noticed how the leaves turned from green to gold, orange, and brown. These warm colors made us feel cozy and peaceful.
That’s why our fall collection features:
- Warm brown dresses
- Soft orange t-shirts
- Deep green accents
- Gentle beige basics
These colors mix well together, so you can create many outfits with just a few pieces.
Simple Shapes, Careful Details
Our designs may look simple, but we spend hours getting each detail right:
- The neckline of our t-shirts sits perfectly – not too high, not too low
- Our dress hems fall at the most flattering length
- Sleeves are cut to move comfortably with you
- Pockets are added wherever possible (because who doesn’t love pockets?)
We try on each design ourselves many times before we’re happy with it.
Materials Matter
We pick fabrics that:
- Feel soft against your skin
- Move with your body
- Keep their shape after washing
- Look better with time
For fall, we’ve chosen slightly heavier cotton for our t-shirts, and a soft cotton-blend for our dresses that won’t wrinkle easily.
From Sketch to Store
Each piece in our collection follows this journey:
- We sketch ideas by hand
- We choose fabrics and colors
- We make a test version
- We wear it ourselves for a week
- We make changes based on how it feels
- We create the final version
- We take photos
- Only then does it go on our website
This process takes time, but it ensures everything we sell is something we love ourselves.
Made for Real Life
Our fall collection is designed for how you really live. The pieces can be:
- Dressed up or down
- Machine washed
- Packed in a suitcase without wrinkling
- Worn all day comfortably

We’re especially proud of:
- Our camel midi dress with hidden pockets
- The perfect white t-shirt (it took us 8 tries to get it right!)
- Our rust-colored long sleeve top that looks good on everyone
- Our first pair of wide-leg pants in a deep forest green

We’re already working on adding a few more pieces to complete the fall collection:

- A versatile skirt that can be worn two ways
- More sneaker colors to match our clothes
