Inspired by the bark of the native Swedish birch tree, designer Lena Bergstrom wanted the textile of the Bjork pouffe to form a beautiful surface in the home, as natural as stone or wood. The weft is 100% wool and the warp is 100% cotton. The marbled effect of the textile is created through intertwining the two contrasting yarns. Bjork is lovingly woven by hand and as such is a piece of craft and the appearance can differ from product to product. Note: The whiteness of the yarn can differ depending on what time of year the sheep are sheared so please take this into consideration when purchasing.
